At REMEDY, a video production agency, my fellow intern Rebecca and I launched The Tide Trials—a playful summer campaign supporting SeaLegacy, a team of storytellers and oceanic conservationists.

The campaign followed Normi the Narwhal, our lovable mascot, on his journey back to the Antarctic. To support him, we introduced the Normi Travel Fund, where donors had a chance to win a special Normi travel package.

We wrapped it all up with REMEDY Relay Day, where participants could wakeboard, swim, or take on any water sport to earn “miles” for Normi’s final stretch home. To add a splash of mischief, donors could visit givebutter.com/tidetrials to send surprise challenges to our REMEDY team!

About the Brand

For the campaign icon, I designed a silhouette of Normi the Narwhal, paired with a lowercase wordmark. The italic style of the type was chosen to reflect the campaign’s overall theme of movement and water sports. Our color palette centered around REMEDY’s signature orange, complemented by vibrant, ocean-inspired visuals featuring sea turtles, whales, and other aquatic friends.

To keep the audience engaged on social media, we mixed playful ocean facts with real-time updates on Normi’s journey—adding both charm and momentum to the campaign.
